Sponsorship

A House Sponsorship consists of $5,000 and a team of 12 to 20 volunteers. The Benefits are Numerous:

Immediate positive impact on the life of a low-income elderly or disabled homeowner

Demonstrating your organization’s commitment to community service and quality of life in Petersburg
Favorable publicity through media, press releases, articles, photos, signage and ads.
Preserving and improving Petersburg’s aging housing stock and community centers
Alliance with nationally respected Rebuilding Together organization
Leveraged investment with every dollar resulting in at least three dollars of repairs through volunteer labor and in-kind donations.

Provide a Neighborhood Sponsorship of $10,000 or a House Sponsorship of $5,000.
Provide a Volunteer Coordinator from your organization who organizes employees/volunteers, attends trainings, and manages relationship with repair site. If possible, provide a Site Captain who develops a work scope.
Provide a volunteer to support the RT*P Board Logistics Team.
Provide approximately 12 to 20 unskilled volunteers ready to work for one very rewarding day.
Provide lunch and water for volunteers on the project day

Select a home(s) or non-profit site for your organization.
Assign a skilled Site Captain if no one is available from your organization. Help to provide skilled labor necessary for site repairs as available.
Provide training for Volunteer Coordinators & Site Captains.
Procure the materials and supplies necessary for project.
Obtain all governmental approvals and permits.
Provide a prominent sign on repair site with sponsor name.
Arrange for press coverage.
Provide T-shirts for volunteers.
